Amanda has been with us since she graduated the Veterinary Technician course at Seneca College in 2013. She is a great addition to the team as she can confidently cover all aspects of the animal hospital with a genuine and contagious smile. She also is one of the two feline groomers at our facility. If you find your cat constantly getting matted and you just need to start fresh or he/she needs that summer cut Amanda is your girl as she loves giving them those famous lion cuts.

Amanda lives with an assortment of animals including a Golden Retriever named Moxie who she had adopted in 2015.  A spoiled chinchilla named Kovu and she has recently adopted a ferret named 'Petunia' (a.k.a Tuna) from the 'Lady Bird Animal Sanctuary.' Before coming to work with us Amanda traveled to South Africa with a group called "Veterinary Nurses in the Wild" and continued her education treating lions, tigers and giraffes, oh my!
