He comes with experience from emergency hospitals, companion animal clinics and dabbled in veterinary management for 9 years. He joined our team in December 2022. Matt brings many laughs and smiles to our team. He submerges himself completely, assisting anyone of his fellow team members when and where needed. His welcoming smile and kind approach are felt by clients and patients alike. Matt enjoys archery, hiking, biking and the gym. At home he is greeted by his Maine Coons, Isabelle and Nando. Since then, she been fascinated with caring for animals and learning about their intricate inner processes. She started in the industry as a high school co-op student and continued working in small animal clinics as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys speaking with clients just as much as helping their pets. Maria also has experience working with dairy cattle, wildlife, such as racoons, skunks and possums, and even beluga whales! Her ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian and she is starting her first year at the Ontario Veterinary College this fall! Her hard work and keen attitude paid off, and she officially joined the team as a Kennel Attendant for Boarding & Daycare in 2019. During the Pandemic, she grew in her position and has been working alongside the team as one of our star assistants. You can find her snapping patient pictures for our social media pages or interacting with the animals and giving them lots of love, treats and support. When not at the clinic Sarah enjoys spending her time outdoors, with her husband Matthew, camping and hiking, or travelling the world! She has four cats, Big Boy, Little Girl, Binx, and Eevee, and three dogs, a Doberman named Voodoo, a cattle dog named Merlin and a Boston terrier Jack Russel Mix named Roberto.
