Abilene Hozjan
Abi is our hospital administrator. She has assisted at the animal hospital part time, in many different roles, since opening in 2002.
She went to school for Accounting and Business Management, and is our behind the scenes girl, dedicated to making sure the practice runs smoothly and all our financial needs are met. She can be found bouncing around the office in many roles to ensure clients and patients have the best care possible, and that our team is happy!
Abi and her husband, together with their children, have a Miniature Schnauzer named Goose. She is dedicated yogi and holistic enthusiast. She enjoys horseback riding and can be found out on the trails alongside her mom, Dr. Whelan, on her horse Skully.
Lauren Simpson
Lauren is our office manager! She is very confident within her role at the practice and loves working with clients, making sure they get the assistance and understanding they deserve. She is one of the best advocates for your pets and will work hard to ensure all your questions are answered. It is always a pleasure working with Lauren especially in difficult times knowing she is there with you through everything and comforting when you need it the most.
Lauren treats every animal as her own and with her experience and positive, friendly attitude, Lauren goes the extra mile to make clients and their fur babies feel happy and comfortable while here.
She has several animals at home, including her Brindle Terrier Cross, Gypsy!
