Amanda Wickens
Amanda has been with us since graduating from Seneca College in 2013. She can confidently cover all aspects of the animal hospital (including feline grooming) with a genuine and contagious smile.
She lives with an assortment of animals, including a Golden Retriever named Jonesy and a spoiled chinchilla named Kovu!
Before coming to work with us Amanda travelled to South Africa with a group called "Veterinary Nurses in the Wild" and continued her education treating lions, tigers and giraffes, oh my!
Sharisse Thompson
Sharisse joined our team in Summer of 2021. She graduated from St. Clair college in 2017.
A local here in Dundas, she lives with her 2-year-old Golden Retriever Mix named Suzie and two rabbits, Henry and Hazel. Her hobbies include hiking, playing piano, horseback riding and golf.
She loves rabbits, doing dentals, and coffee. She is always happy when snacks are around!
Emily Naccarato
Emily joined our team in October 2021. A lifelong lover of animals, she graduated from Sheridan College in 2021 after obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in 2019.
She has a special interest in our exotics patients and works to grow her skills to give them the best care possible. Before joining Spencer Creek, she worked at a wildlife refuge, helping to care for squirrels, rabbits, birds, raccoons, and many other critters!
She lives with a spunky Golden Retriever names Maggie, who promises she has never done wrong, ever!
Matthew Williams
Matt has been in the veterinary industry for 18 years. He comes with experience from emergency hospitals, companion animal clinics and dabbled in veterinary management for 9 years. He joined our team in December 2022.
Matt brings many laughs and smiles to our team. He submerges himself completely, assisting anyone of his fellow team members when and where needed. His welcoming smile and kind approach are felt by clients and patients alike.
Matt enjoys archery, hiking, biking and the gym. At home he is greeted by his Maine Coons, Isabelle and Nando. Anything Maine Coon related, Matt is the go to person; he takes great interest in the breed he loves!
